The second season is here in pro football. Here's how I see it shaking out:
WILD CARD ROUND
Jacksonsville over Pittsburgh (No Willie Paker? No win.)
San Diego over Tennessee (Sorry, Anthony)
Tampa Bay over NY Giants (Fewer turnovers, better 3rd-down conversions means a Bucs win)
Washington over Seattle (Emotions carry the 'Skins to another win)
DIVISIONAL ROUND
New England over Jacksonville (Two weeks off for the Patriots. Nuff said.)
San Diego over Indy (Indy barely beat the Bolts in the regular season. I give SD the edge in the rematch.)
Dallas over Washington (This one could go either way, so I'll go with the home team.)
Green Bay over Tampa Bay (Give me Brett Favre over Jeff Garcia any day.)
CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
New England over San Diego (Loss No. 1 doesn't come just yet.)
Green Bay over Dallas (Favre breaks his Dallas jinx thanks to a healthier GB squad.)
SUPER BOWL
Green Bay over New England (Favre and the Pack play out of their minds to reaffirm No. 4's status as the best QB playing the game in the last 15 years. Plus, a NE loss in the Super Bowl would crush my favorite ball coach and pretty-boy QB.)
And you know I'm not being biased here. After all, I'm a Bears fan picking the Packers to win the Super Bowl.
