T-Birds changing opinions

After Friday's game, Lima Central Catholic defensive lineman Jake Hyland talked about how people were calling the Thunderbirds overrated. I was one of them. I thought they were one of the most over-hyped 4-0 teams that I had ever seen. It was only a matter of time before someone exposed them for the frauds they are.
I didn't believe in them. Until Friday night.
LCC completely dominated every part of its 34-7 win over Delphos Jefferson. I mean dominated. I could go on and on about exactly what impressed me. It was one of the most dominating defensive performances I have ever seen. Not to mention the running game and smart passing.
But the best I can say is, I believe. I was wrong.

I think the real question is, "How good is Jefferson?"

They have a 1 point win against Harvest Prep; who is making a living beating some really bad teams, a 3-point win against Paulding, a 15 point loss to a down Bluffton team and a win over an Allen East team that is on a downward spiral.

LCC should lay the wood to Spencerville next week (Indian Lake and Ada already have, so it's expected right?), but the T-Birds will make me a real believer if they can beat Bishop Ready in 2 weeks.

Absolutely. The Ready game will tell a bunch about LCC. It will be a good indicator of what to expect in the postseason from the Birds.
As for Jefferson, they're good ... but that's about it.
